Description
Tungsten Beadhead Squiggly San Juan Worm
The Tungsten Beadhead Squiggly San Juan Worm also sometimes called Tungsten BH Squirmy Wormie or wiggly worm is a simple but effective class of san juan worm fly.
A San Juan worm is designed to imitate an aquatic worm and is known for it’s simplicity and versatility.
They can be fished all year-round and almost in any body of water. The tungsten beadhead on this worm helps it sink quickly to the bottom.
You can fish a Tungsten BH San Juan worm just like any other nymph. The key is to just get it deep enough to float along the bottom of the river as that is where aquatic worms tend to live.
They are particularly good for fishing in murky water as the bright colors tend to attract the fish. If you are fishing around Spring time, don’t be afraid to fish with the bigger worms.
Usually available in sizes 8, 10, 12 , 14
Usually available in the following colors: Blood Red | Fluorescent Green | Fluorescent Orange | Fluorescent Yellow | Glow in the Dark | Hot Pink | Olive | Purple | Red | Tan | White
