Spuddler
The Spuddler fly pattern, sometimes referred to as a “Spuddler-Minnow” is a hybrid of the classic Muddler Minnow and the Matuka. Both of these flies were tied to imitate the flat head minnow that are a trout’s favorite in the northern and southern hemisphere.
The flies name comes from a cross breed of the Muddler and a Spruce Fly.
It can be fished as a hopper, sculpin or a dace and it very effective when fishing of bass or bigger trout across North America.
Usually available in hook sizes: 4 | 6 | 8 | 10
