The EC Caddis aka E/C Caddis was first created by Sierran Flyfisher, Ralph Cutter and imitates emerging caddis, with trailing shuck. It is an emergent/cripple caddis fly pattern developed for the large caddis hatches that frequent the Truckee River. The shuck consists of a material which absorbs water and allows the rear portion of the fly to sink within the surface film. It’s low profile translates to more hook ups.
