Clouser Crayfish
This Clouser Crayfish fly pattern is another creation of Bob Clouser and imitates the appearance of a crayfish. Crayfish flies are effective when fished near the bottom, especially in areas where crayfish are present. Vary your retrieves and presentations to mimic the natural movements of crayfish, such as slow crawls or short bursts of movement.
It is designed to be fished dead drift on the bottom targeting large river trout but can also fish well as a streamer.
Good for big trout and smallmouth bass.
