Breadcrust Nymph
The Breadcrust nymph is credited to Rudy Sentiwany who invented the original pattern in Pocono Mountains of north eastern Pennsylvannia in the early 1940s. It was later popularized by Ed Rolka, a fellow Pennsylvanian, in the west when he moved to Colorado in the 1970s. This breadcrust fly imitates a cased and free living caddis and is a favorite anywhere cased-caddis are present.
Usually available in hook sizes 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16.
