Description
Beadhead Danger Baby / BH Danger Baby
The Beadhead Danger Baby fly pattern (BH-Danger Baby) is a great choice for an attractor. It is made up of peacock herl for the body and some attractive olive ribbing that catches the unsuspecting trout unawares.
It is a nymph pattern that is designed to imitate a small aquatic insect or larva, and is usually fished in rivers or streams.
The “beadhead” part of the name refers to the small metal bead that is attached to the head of the fly, which helps it sink quickly to the bottom of the water where the fish are likely to be feeding.
The “danger baby” part of the name is a nod to the fly’s effectiveness at catching fish, as well as its small size and attractive coloration.
Overall, the Beadhead Danger Baby is a popular and versatile fishing fly that can be used to target a wide variety of freshwater fish species, including trout, bass, and panfish.
